Work: My broad research interests encompass citizenship, belonging and globalisation, transnational migration, diaspora politics, human rights advocacy, and law and development. My current research interrogates existing liberal universalist conceptions of transnational citizenship in the context of globalisation and human mobilities, particularly trying to illuminate the complex factors which shape cross border migrants' senses of belonging and identity in contemporary Africa.

Dear Langton,

Thanks very much for joining the Research Co-op. Our main goal is to help researchers get their work published. At the same time we also wish to support genuine journals and publishers. Thanks for your list of 'favorite journals'.

I'd be grateful if you can join and perhaps liven up our focus group for South Africa ... though there are many other ways you can use our network. Please look around and ask me ( or Sam ) questions at any time.

Peter (Admin., Kyoto)
