Activity at Academia.edu

I have joined Academia.edu primarily to promote the Research Cooperative. The Academia.edu motto is very clear: "Follow research", and I view my work for the Research Cooperative as part of my research activity.

The following lines are adapted from the official About page at Academia.edu (Internet, 4th January 2011).

Academia.edu helps us follow the latest research in our own fields of interest:

• We can follow what academics in our field are working on
  • the latest papers they are publishing
  • talks they are giving
  • blog posts and status updates they are writing
• We can create a webpage on Academia.edu, and share our own research. We can:
  • list your research interests, and upload papers and talks
  • get stats on paper views and downloads
  • find what keywords people use to search for you on Google
