Work: Michelle A. Marzullo will graduate in 2013 with her PhD in Anthropology concentrating in Race, Gender, and Social Justice from American University in Washington, DC. She holds a Master's degree in Human Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University. Michelle’s current research is on marriage, gender/sexuality, temporality and public policy in the US. Michelle was a Point Foundation Scholar and an American University College of Arts and Sciences Dissertation Fellow.
Biographical: • Twelve years of qualitative research on a wide range of studies including programmatic, public health, government and product marketing research with Fortune 100 companies • Outstanding client-facing, media/press relations and organizational liaison skills • Extensive experience as lead field interviewer and focus group moderator utilizing moderation best-practices and UX research techniques • Experience with market segmentation and strategic questionnaire development aimed at programmatic and product marketing goals • Record of consistent success moving overlapping research projects as well as multi-year research projects through various phases on schedule and to completion • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Dynamic presentation style; Enjoy teaching using didactic as well as hands-on, real-world approaches • Advanced experience crafting results for various audiences and styles, including topline/marketing reports, executive summaries, scientific and general audience reports • Analytic experience with qualitative and quantitative designs and software • Strong organizational management, project management and leadership experience; Easygoing management style • Efficient, productive and resourceful; Excellent attention to detail, and exceptional planning skills
