After moving to the Jamroom system from Ning in October 2016, we have many many broken throughout the network. This was unavoidable. We can all help to improve the situation.
If you find any old sent by yourself, and see broken in them, please either use the "Remove link" tool in the editing menu, or insert a link using the "Insert/edit link" tool (a chainlink at left in the editing menu).

In most cases, when you see a broken icon where there should be a photo, it is because the link to a photo file has been broken. The only solutions here are to upload the old photo again, or to upload a photo, or to delete the image.
