Wild Taro Working Group
Activities of Project members and others involved in the study of taro and its wild relatives (Colocasia spp.).
We hope that this group can be a seed for long-term research on the natural and cultural history of taro.
Photo: wild taro growing on the face of a waterfall in northern India (Assam). We do not know yet if the plants at this location, near Gauhati, are part of a wider natural population in the region (PJM).
