Translation needed for welcome note, from English to multiple languages

Translation - REQUESTS

The Research Coooperative requires good translations of the English text below into: German, Hindi, Korean, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese, and other languages (volunteer or paid).

We already have translations for Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Please contact me (Dr Peter Matthews) by reply to this message, with a private note, or directly by email (researchcooperative-at-gmail-dot-com). I would like to complete these by the end of 2021 if possible. Translations into other commonly spoken languages are also needed. Please suggest any!  [updated 14th June 2021]

About transcription services

Transcription - OFFERS

1. Text to text.

Transcribing written texts from handwriting to digital format is often needed in historical research, or in the transcription of handwritten field notes.

2. Audio to text.

Transcription is perhaps most often needed when converting a recorded interview or conference presentation into a text.

In Japan, it is common for conference proceedings to be published based on the transcriptions of recorded presentations, whcih are edited before final publication. This is a good way to produce a conference record quickly, and it can be followed later by publications with more formally written articles.

IJE, Nepal

Services archive

Dear Govinda,

Many new members have joined our network since you first wrote about the IJE. Is the journal still looking for reviewers (as well as contributing authors). A brief update here (and/or in one of our topic focus groups) might be good... for your journal, and for our network!

Best regards, Peter

I am offering to continue supporting the Research Cooperative

Services archive

Although our network has had little obvious activity, apart from many people joining, it is not expected to be a super-active social network.

Our focus is the slow long-term struggle to do science and communicate our results.

I am happy to continue developing and supporting this network -- it is part of the same slow long-term struggle to do science and communicate results!

This is "my" communication project... and all members of the network are welcome to roll up sleeves and join the effort, in a collaborative spirit...

...and then it can really be "our" project.

Thanks for reading.
