Medlist mailing plan
Medlist International, a direct mailing company for academic audiences, uses an opt-in system that allows recipients of advertising mail to cut their connection and stop receiving mail.
The company is therefore very careful to send advertisements that recipients might actually be interested in. We have previously used this company to send invitations to almost 30,000 recipients globally.
The results for us were good, and the very few of the recipients decided to opt out of the mailing list, after receiving our invitation.
Most researchers can see that our network is relevant for research.
In the near future, I am planning to ask Medlist to send out further invitations. When this happens, we may need to try greeting a large numnber of new members.
