Dear Orlene,

Did this message reach you?

Is there any chance of you getting to Japan to join the conference? I am thinking about going.

Cheers, Peter

I am indeed (was it the name that gave me away!) - I've been in the Netherlands for about a year and a half. You're from Ireland too...?

Thanks for inviting me! I'm actually rather excited and impressed to see everything that's available here! I may be a bit quiet at first, but I'll hop in once I have some time. In the meantime, I'll peruse.Browsing through the content, I have at least a couple of people in mind who would benefit from this sort of networking tool. Don't be too surprised if you see people from the Midwestern U.S. popping up on here. :)

Here's a thought - if you can afford to make printed copies (double-sided), with just a basic cover and binding, maybe these could be submitted together with the CD. Then they could freely annotate their copies and make sense of their own reading of the text. One of my favourite finds in an old bookshop in Australia was a hand-typed copy of a PhD on the history of India, by an author who eventually became a senior historian of India

Dear Orlene,For my MSc and PhD thesis, I printed the reference section on a different colour of paper. This makes it much easier for later readers to read the text and check the references, and for a thesis, it is not necessary to follow commercial publishing conventions (uniform page colour throughout).P.

Dear Orlene,Did you send me you postal address? I have a printed copy of the volume that I can post - it would be good if you can donate it to your university library after looking at it..P. (email researchcooperative at gmail dot com
